Indian skipper Virat Kohli sits on another level of batting excellence as his voracious appetite for scoring tons of runs does not seem to end. At just 30 years of age, Kohli has already achieved so much during the course of his illustrious career.
Adding another feather to his cap, Kohli will now be honoured with a stand in his name at the iconic Feroz Shah Kotla Stadium in Delhi. The classy batsman will be the third Delhi player to have accomplished this feat and also the youngest cricketer to be bestowed with this honour.
“Virat Kohli's outstanding contribution to world cricket has done DDCA proud. We are happy to honour him for achieving certain milestones and unbeatable captaincy record,” Delhi & District Cricket Association (DDCA) President Rajat Sharma declared.
“Feroz Shah Kotla would be equally proud because Virat played here as a teenager before joining the other legends in the Hall of Fame,” he added.
