New Zealand announces T20I squad

The World cup finalists are on the tour of Sri Lanka currently where they have succumbed to a historic defeat at the hands of the hosts in the 1st Test match at Galle.

The focus now shifts towards the T20I series and the Blackcaps have announced a strong looking T20I squad for the upcoming series against Sri Lanka.

Tim Southee will take over from Kane Williamson as the new T20I skipper of the side. The squad includes key players like Lockie Ferguson, Ross Taylor, Colin Munro and Martin Guptill. The management has also decided to add fast bowler Seth Rance in the squad.
