Steve Smith has not had a good time with the fans ever since his return to the International cricket, time and again he has been bullied and critisized by the fans. But he stood firm against it all and focused on his batting performance only.
Australian Prime Minister, Scott Morrison opened up about Steve Smith and defended him in a solid way after England’s crowd booed Smith when he fell down to a bouncer.
‘His performance on the pitch during his return to Test Match cricket in the UK demands nothing other than respect. He is a champion and has handled the events of the past year with a real humility.’ Prime Minister quoted.
"I'm extremely proud of Steve Smith, and it's not just because he comes from the Shire," he added. "The crowd could learn a thing or two from Steve Smith and I look forward to him answering his hecklers with bat and ball in hand to bring home the Ashes.", Mr. Morrison concluded.
