Jofra Archer has become talk of the town after his eye-catching performance in the 3rd Ashes Test at Lord’s. Archer’s short stints were too good for Australia to deal with. But on the other hand, his fitness in the longer format of the game is also a concern for the England cricket team.
Ian Bishop talked about Archer and said England and Joe Root need to be more mindful while managing Jofra Archer. “Don’t kill the goose which lays golden eggs”, he added an example.
Archer’s fitness will be the key for Root and England as James Anderson is already out of the 3rd Ashes Test. ICC Test Championship will be an arduous task for the fast bowlers and especially for players like Archer who are not used to the longer formats.
