For the forthcoming Test series against India commencing from August 22, West Indies included the spin bowling all-rounder Rahkeem Cornwall in their team. Not being the fittest of the cricketers, the selection raised many eyebrows. However, the proficient cricketer believes that the red-ball cricket suits him to give a good account of his skills.
Playing first-class cricket since 2014, the bulky cricketer has scored 2224 runs and claimed 260 wickets in 55 games. Even in the unofficial Test series against India A, Rahkeem was found recording impressive outings. Recently, the 26-year old player shared his feelings about getting picked for the national team as this is something he calls his dream. Rahkeem has massive plans for International cricket as he is in no mood to let down his supporters.
Moreover, the Antigua born is looking to use his previous experiences to help his team do well, if given a chance against India. The two-game Test series will get underway in North Sound before the action moving to Kingston for the second match of the series.
