Steve Waugh reflects on key to Ashes glory

The ongoing high-voltage Ashes series being played between arch-rivals Australia and England is providing a plethora of entertainment. While Australia won the opening Test, England came back hard to almost achieve an unlikely victory in the second match. Both the games included fantastic performances and the tourists are currently leading the series 1-0.

Recently, Australia’s legendary cricketer Steve Waugh who is currently mentoring the Aussies reflected on pressure moments of Ashes. The 54-year old believes that winning key moments would be pivotal to claim glory in the ongoing Test series.

Highlighting Australia’s missed chances on day 4 of the second Test and England’s mistakes in the 1st game, Waugh stressed on the significance of winning pressure moments. Moreover, the New South Wales born advised his bunch to be consistent so that they can end their 18-year Ashes drought in Britain. The third Test of the series is set to get underway from August 22 at Leeds.
