The Indian cricket team would start its campaign in the World Test Championship with 2 Test matches against West Indies this month. The number 1 Test side in the world would look to strengthen its top position with the help of its world class players in all departments.
Top-order batsman Cheteshwar Pujara has said that he would try to emulate the consistency of skipper Virat Kohli in the upcoming series as he wants to become a reliable and efficient player for the Test side like his captain.
“As a top-order batsman you are always under pressure, you always have to play with responsibility, Virat has been doing that with great consistency over the last few years. I have done that in the past too and I’m sure the role will be similar even in future," he added.
