The Sri Lankan cricket team had a wonderful outing against the Kiwis in the 1st Test match at Galle. The Islanders saw their captain registering a fine hundred under immense pressure in the 4th innings of the match.
To further strengthen their squad, Sri Lankan management has added the all-rounder Dilruwan Perera to the squad for the ongoing 2nd Test match.
Perera has been impressive throughout his career in whites for Sri Lanka. He has picked up crucial wickets and also scored some precious runs under pressure for the men in blue.
The decision came after Akila Dananjaya was reported for a suspect action. Perera missed the Galle Test due to injury.
