Josh Hazlewood was the chief destroyer for Australia as he registered his 6th five wicket haul in Test cricket. The pacer bowled beautiful lines while testing the defence of English batsmen as only one of them managed to reach double figures.
Fans and critics were disappointed on such mediocre batting display by England at home as they called them out for being unprepared for the challenges of Test cricketer. Former English skipper Michael Vaughan even went on to congratulate the Aussies on retaining the Ashes as he gave up hope for the home side’s comeback.
