Former Pakistan captain Misbah-ul-Haq has emerged as one of the top contenders for the job of Head Coach of the national side. The veteran is also expected to get the additional responsibility of Chief Selector as he has been part of the domestic system till the last season.
Pakistani leg-spinner Shadab Khan has backed Misbah to become the head coach of the national side as he believes that the former captain could help the players a lot with his expertise.
“I have played a lot under Misbah Bhai and I always learn a lot from him. If he becomes the coach, we will learn a lot from him,” said Shadab.
Moreover, Shadab also said that he is trying to improve his fitness for Test cricket which is why he is looking forward to the upcoming domestic season where he would have an opportunity to bowl long spells and impress the selectors with the red ball.
