The Antigua Test has shifted towards India after a great display of fast bowling by Ishant Sharma on Day 2. The tall pacer from Delhi took 5 wickets and broke the back of the West Indian batting line-up.
Sharma provided breakthroughs at crucial situations as the West Indies batters were looking to rebuild the innings. Ishant took the crucial wickets of Brathwaite, Chase and Hope. He also got rid of the dangerous looking Shimron Hetmyer who was looking to take the attack to the Indian bowlers.
West Indies finished Day 1 on 189-8 and they are 108 runs behind India’s total of 297. Ravindra Jadeja, Jasprit Bumrah and Mohammad Shami shared 3 wickets between them.
