Sri Lanka to play the longest bilateral series in Pakistan since 2009

Pakistan cricket fans are ecstatic as the cricket is coming home again but this time for the longer period. Sri Lanka has announced that they will play 3 ODIs and 3 T20Is against Pakistan in Karachi and Lahore respectively at the end of September 2019.

The series will commence from 27th September 2019 in Karachi where the two teams will meet in the 1st ODI of the series. Followed by 2nd and 3rd ODI on 29th September and 02nd October respectively.

The T20I series will be hosted by the Gadaffi Stadium, Lahore. 3 T20Is matches will be played starting from 5th October. The fans are invigorated once again with this news and they are eagerly waiting for the series to kick on.

The Test series will be played in December whose venue is yet to be decided. This is the longest bilateral series to be hosted by Pakistan since the 2009 tragedy. The doors of cricket were closed from the series against Sri Lanka, and they will open from the series against the same team.
