Afghanistan’s newly installed skipper Rashid Khan is looking forward to a strong show against Bangladesh in their upcoming tour which comprises of a solitary Test game and a T20I tri-series involving hosts Bangladesh and Zimbabwe.
The 20-year old who admitted the challenges of captaining a national team is focused to produce strong and consistent shows as he doesn’t want to see the new responsibility dampening his effectiveness as a player.
Sharing his plans for taking the Afghan team forward, the spin wizard added that he would try to make his team come forward with their best game in all the contests. Moreover, Rashid believes that his bunch possesses enough quality to steal the limelight in their forthcoming assignments.
“I want to be a captain who leads from the front as I do not want to the see the responsibility hindering my performances. As the team’s leader, I really want to see my team giving 100% whenever they take on field,” said by Afghanistan’s spin sensation.
