Pakistan’s top-order batsman Babar Azam has refused to look back ever since making his debut in the International cricket. While the proficient batsman averages more than 50 in white-ball cricket, his Test credentials are also improving.
Currently, the 24-year old batsman is playing for Somerset in the ongoing edition of the Vitality T20 Blast where he sits on top of batting charts by mustering 541 runs across 11 innings. Portraying an effective range of strokes and coupling it with his ability to find gaps, the Lahore born is having a memorable time in England.
All this swelled his fan base massively and the recent man to join this club is none other than former England batsman Marcus Trescothick who shared words of praise for the Pakistan’s batting sensation. The 43-year old believes that Babar is a perfect role model for any kid who aspires to become a top batsman.
“If you are a kid and wants to start playing cricket then you really need to copy this man as much as you can as Babar is one of the best technicians in the modern era of cricket,” said by Somerset born as he applauded Babar Azam’s batting.
