After being in a bit of trouble on the opening day of the Antigua Test, India recorded a stunning comeback to claim victory by a heavy margin of 318 runs. West Indies, in pursuit of 419 runs, batted poorly to score only 100 runs, thus allowing India a 1-0 lead in the two-game series.
West Indian skipper, after tasting a heavy defeat, admired the quality of the Indian pacer Jasprit Bumrah who produced an elite bowling display by taking 5 wickets for just 7 runs. The 27-year old believes that Bumrah bowled some magic balls which were unplayable. However, Holder urged his side to come forward with better displays as he feels that Bumrah can be managed.
“Today Bumrah bowled some magic balls and he got few of our batsman out with some very good balls. We have to find ways to tackle him. He is a quality bowler but definitely, there is a solution out there,” said the Barbados born as he dissected his team’s performance in the 1st Test match.
