Indian pacer Ishant Sharma has been limited to Test cricket for a number of years now as he had to give up his place in the limited overs sides after the arrival of bowlers like Jasprit Bumrah, Hardik Pandya, and a couple of others. Ishant has been at the top of his game in recent times as he has contributed a lot towards India’s Test victories both in home and away conditions.
The 30-year-old recently registered the 9th five wicket haul of his Test career while claiming a total of 8 scalps in the game against West Indies in Antigua.
According to statistics, Ishant has played a total of 14 Test matches for India in the last two years and he has taken 63 wickets at an average of 20.66 during this time. The pacer bowled against top quality sides during this time which shows how well he has done for the national side.
