Every cricket aficionado would know about the quality of fast bowlers once the West Indies cricket team had in the late 70s and early 80s.
The legacy was taken forward by Curtly Ambrose and Courtney Walsh towards the next generation of cricketers. However, the legendary fast bowlers of West Indies are now extremely impressed with the way the Indian fast bowling spearhead Jasprit Bumrah is bowling.
Bumrah took 5-7 against West Indies in the 1st Test match to complete a resounding victory for his side. Roberts and Ambrose believe that Bumrah reminds them of their time and the way he out-thinks the batsmen is lovely to watch. Roberts even said that Jasprit Bumrah is the best Indian fast bowler he has ever seen.

"In my time, it was all spin," Andy Roberts said, thinking back to the India attacks of the past. "Good ones, but they wouldn't win you matches overseas. India had Kapil Dev and some others, but we never thought they could produce someone as lethal as Bumrah. He's the best Indian fast bowler I have seen."
