After getting defeated in an epic contest in the third game of the ongoing Ashes series, Australia is gearing up to win one of the last two Tests to retain the urn. With the comeback of star batsman Steve Smith, the batting department is set to gain immense strength.
Australia’s head coach Justin Langer was disappointed to see his team losing a contest they had within their grasp. However, he admitted that such days are part and parcel of life as he urged his team to learn from their mistakes and produce a better display in the fourth Ashes Test which is set to commence from September 5 at Manchester.
“Even at the start of the series, I said that the team who bats well will win this series. There’s no doubt that we’ve some questions to answer for the practice game and the tour match. However, we have done it in the past and we can do it again. We need to move on from the defeat,” said by 48-year old as he is positive about Kangaroos ending their 18-year Ashes drought in England.
