South Africa’s journey in the ICC World Test Championship will begin against India as the rainbow nation will lock horns against the men in blue in a three-game Test series scheduled to be played in October.
To their advantage, their A team is currently touring India which would help many players getting familiar with the sub-continent conditions.
As the South African team is gearing up for a tough challenge in India in the absence of senior pros like Hashim Amla and Dale Steyn, middle-order batsman and skipper of A team, Temba Bavuma is hoping to gain valuable experience from the ongoing series against India.
The 29-year old realizes the quality Indian team carries particularly in spin-friendly conditions. Bavuma believes that Indian unit is full of quality players and South Africa would have to be at the top of their game to claim victory in the forthcoming series.
Nevertheless, the Cape Town born is hopeful of improving his game and perform strongly to aid South Africa record a strong performance in India.
