Australia’s star batsman Steve Smith who got injured in the second Ashes Test match has reiterated that he’s not afraid of facing fierce paceman Jofra Archer. The dexterous batsman is of the opinion that Jofra has no edge over him as he never dismissed Steve Smith.
While the duel between Steve Smith and Jofra Archer was as captivating as it gets, but the New South Wales born remained not out against Jofra.
He even highlighted that other bowlers got him dismissed a lot more. Resuming his duties at Manchester, the 30-year old is actually excited to get back to the national team as he is hungry to score big and help Australia retain the urn.
“There’s been a bit of talk that he’s got the wood over me, but he hasn’t actually got me out. He hit me on the head on a wicket that was a bit up and down at Lord’s. All the other bowlers have had more success against me. I’ve faced them a bit more, but they’ve all got me out a lot more,” said by Steve Smith as he cleared his intentions for the forthcoming Ashes Test.
