PM Khan gives his two cents on Sarfraz’s captaincy

Pakistani skipper Sarfraz Ahmed is facing an uncertain future as the captain of the national side as he has not been able to generate results after almost 3 years of being in charge.

The wicket-keeper batsman was heavily criticized during the recent ICC Cricket World Cup 2019 as he was quite inconsistent with his decision making.

The defeat against India was yet again the worst game of the tournament for Pakistan as the green shirts produced an embarrassing show in all departments in Manchester.

Prime Minister of Pakistan and former captain, Imran Khan recently mentioned the game while giving a motivational lecture to the students.

The former cricketer said that a fearless player never thinks about the consequences of losing before entering a contest while a confused player never produces results as he has a defeat at the back of his mind throughout.

He then mentioned the World Cup match against India as he said that a brave decision would have been batting first after winning the toss, but the opposite happened just because of the defensive mindset of captain Sarfraz Ahmed.
