The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) recently faced a major setback when the Lahore High court suspended the newly implemented constitution. The decision has now been reverted after the intentions of the petitioner were exposed.
The High Court refused to grant stay order for the new constitution after the petitioner immediately filed a fresh case. However, the PCB has now been asked to submit a response after the dismissal of a number of petitions directed at the constitution and terminated employees.
“The PCB welcomes the judgment of the Honorable Lahore High Court Judge Mr. Justice Shahid Waheed, who dismissed the application to suspend the PCB Constitution 2019. It was obvious to all the knowledgeable and passionate cricket fans and followers that the intentions of the petitioners were mala fide and were aimed at disrupting Pakistan cricket activities and bringing embarrassment to the PCB and the country,” said PCB Chairman.
