Haider Ali aims for a big performance in the U19 Asia Cup

Promising Pakistan batsman Haider Ali has set his eyes on acquiring the prized Under-19 Asia Cup trophy. The 18-year-old opening batter claimed he was willing to provide his side emphatic starts at the top of the order during the tournament in Sri Lanka.

“I have performed really well in Sri Lanka in the past. I showed everyone what I am capable of achieving. My aim is to provide a good opening start to my team. I will try my best to win the Asia Cup single-handedly for my team,” the youngster said.

Haider has made significant strides in competitive cricket over the past year and established himself as a mainstay in the Pakistan U-19 lineup. He starred in Pakistan’s dominant whitewash over South Africa U-19 recently away from home with a century and two fifties across the seven games.
