Pakistan’s left-arm fast bowler, Junaid Khan expresses disappointment over his exclusion from the Pakistan cricket team just prior to the ICC Cricket World Cup 2019. He talked about how grieved he was after being dropped from the side at the end of the ODI series against England.
“In the final game of the series against England, before the World Cup my performance was not up to the mark but I was no worse than the other bowlers. To drop a player before such an important tournament based on one performance was very disappointing” Junaid said.
The 29-year old was sent home considering his performance against England before the commencement of the World Cup. He has represented Pakistan in the 76 ODIs so far and has taken 110 wickets at an average of 29.23.
