Jason Gillespie, the former Australian fast bowler recently tweeted about the Top 5 Test knocks the cricket world has ever seen. He sarcastically skipped the number 1 position just to place his innings of 201 runs at the top (he did not mention that on the Tweet).
After Ben Stokes’ heroics against Australia in the 3rd Ashes Test, the debate began on social media regarding the best Test knock ever. Taking advantage of the situation, Gillespie added a bit of humor to the ongoing trend.
The right-arm fast bowler scored 201 runs against Bangladesh back in 2006 at Chattogram. His innings of 201 break many records and it is probably the best Test innings ever played by a tail-ender.
