Indian pacer Jasprit Bumrah has made a smooth transition to Test cricket after proving his prowess with the white ball as he has done remarkably well with the red ball ever since he made his debut in January 2018.
Indian bowling coach Bharat Arun was deeply impressed with the pacer during the first Test against West Indies in Antigua as he said that Bumrah’s spell in the second innings was one of the best spells he has ever seen from his countrymen.
“I think the five-wicket haul for both our frontline seamers will give them confidence, also not forgetting the fact that Shami looked really good each time he was given the ball. He is bowling at 140 clicks consistently, and his action is also not very orthodox. It takes the batsman a second longer to pick up how he is bowling, and the fact that he is so accurate makes him even more potent,” he further added.
