English speedster Jofra Archer has been the standout performer in the ongoing Ashes so far as he has troubled batsmen with his express pace and nasty bouncers on the grassy English tracks.
The pacer has taken another jibe at the Aussies as he has said that the banter that was going on while he was batting in the 2nd innings of the Headingley Test made him laugh since it was coming out of frustration.
“It was terrible chat. Nothing to worry about. It made me laugh. It was either Tim Paine or Matthew Wade, but someone said, 'that is a great shot Jof'. You should never get complacent, the crowd started getting on their backs and I think they panicked a bit,” he added.
Moreover, he also revealed a couple of other things which were said to him be by the Aussies as they tried to mock Joe Root’s place in the Test side.
