Being one of the most potent spinners of the modern day cricket, Afghanistan’s spin wizard Rashid Khan comes across as a massive challenge to all the batters. However, the left-handed Bangladeshi opener Shadman Islam revealed that he is supremely confident about managing the Afghan skipper.
In the absence of veteran batsman Tamim Iqbal, the 24-year old cricketer emerged as Bangladesh’s first choice opener. The domestic stalwart reminded Rashid Khan about his struggles in the red-ball cricket as he revealed that Bangladesh aren’t making any extra plan for the 20-year old player. Moreover, Shadman said that playing efficient spinners in nets developed his expertise as he looks forward to face Afghan spinners.
“We don’t have an extra plan about Rashid because we are playing Test cricket and its different from white-ball version. We play good spinners regularly in nets so we aren’t worried about him. We will play spin the way we have been playing it,” said by Dhaka born who is eager to register a strong outing in the solitary Test match against Afghanistan.
