Pakistan’s Under-19 side is fully prepared to unleash their skills in the upcoming U19 Asia Cup in Sri Lanka. With conditions naturally conducive to spin in the region, it is expected that Pakistan will be banking on the talented Aamir Ali to deliver them brilliant bowling performances.
The teenage left-arm spin sensation has been busy making a name for himself in the wicket-taking charts. He recently picked up 13 wickets across 7 games in South Africa, showcasing his ability to spin the ball even in unhelpful conditions. Aamir claimed to be inspired by the Sri Lankan legend Rangana Herath, as he tries to model his bowling style on one of the greatest spinners to play the game.
“My favourite bowler is Rangana Herath. God willing we will give our best effort and win the Asia Cup,” the youngster said.
