Australia’s head coach, Justin Langer, and team management decided before the Ashes 2019 that they won’t play Mitchell Starc, Pat Cummins, and Josh Hazlewood in a same Test match in order to lessen their work load.
The results of the Ashes and the intensity of the situation have forced Langer and team management to row back their own policy as the trio have been included in the 4th Ashes Test against England.
Before this, Michael Hussey, former Australian batsman also raised this issue and said that Australia should focus on the game rather than rotation policy. With Ashes hanging in balance, Australia had to launch their best attack in the all-important game.
Australia might stick with these 3 for the next game as well as they want to win the Ashes 2019. Starc, Cummins, and Hazlewood have been brilliant for Australia in the Test matches. They have the ability to pick wickets on regular basis which provides strength to the team.
