Marnus Labuschagne, Australia’s middle-order batsman, continues to do wonders with the bat in the ongoing Ashes series. His consistency has become something to write home about as he scored yet another half-century in the 1st innings of the 4th Ashes Test. He scored 67 runs and added a vital partnership with Steve Smith when Australia was struggling early on.
Labuschagne has scored 59, 74, 80, and 67 in his last 4 innings of the Ashes 2019. The bloke has been unstoppable in the middle-order. He was called in as a replacement for Steve Smith but he managed to solidify his position in Australia’s Test side.
The 25-year old currently averages 38.45 in the Test matches, but these are still early days for him in the format. The way he is going, he can go on to become one of the best Australian batsmen.
