The 4th Ashes Test between England and Australia has become an important encounter in the context of the series as the visitors would need to win the remaining games to retain the trophy while the home side could easily share the trophy on winning one of the remaining two games.
After numerous heated encounters in the series, Steve Smith and Jofra Archer are up against each other once again as they have been trying to dominate each other ever since the start of the series. Archer has caused continuous troubles for the world number 1 Test batsman, but he is yet to get him out.
English pacer Stuart Broad has been looking forward to the epic battle between the two players as he said that he would enjoy watching both the players having a go at each other.
“Firstly, it's great that Steve is ok and coming back into Test cricket. No one wants to see anyone miss cricket through a head injury. It was a nasty hit. It's great to have him back. But Test cricket is a brutal sport. Sides go hell for leather against each other. So, I'm sure that, when Steve comes in, Jofra will be in Joe Root's ear wanting the ball. no doubt about that. Jofra will be excited to continue that battle. And I'll be excited when he does,” he said before the start of play in Manchester.
