The new playing conditions for the upcoming season of the Quaid-e-Azam Trophy scheduled to commence on September 14 will allow each domestic side to sign one foreign player in the squad.
This exciting development was recently announced by the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) as they revealed the playing rules and regulations for the revamped Quaid-e-Azam Trophy.
“According to Clause 2 of the Qualification Rules for PCB Domestic Tournament 2019-20, all such requests to include overseas players are to made one month prior to the cricket season,” the PCB statement read.
The overseas recruit can be included in addition to the original 32-member squad in place for the domestic cricket association. For the process to go through, the foreign player will have to provide a No Objection Certificate from his country’s board.
