Pakistan Cricket Board’s (PCB) pre-season training camp at the National Cricket Academy (NCA) has concluded after two weeks of rigorous physical training.
The camp was organized with a view to prepare for the upcoming cricket season where most of Pakistan's international commitments will be in the five-day format while the domestic Quaid-e-Azam Trophy will be held simultaneously.
Now, the players will leave for Azad Kashmir to participate in the festival match organized by the PCB for the promotion and development of the cricket game in that region. The match is scheduled to take place on 6th September.
The squad selection for the series against Sri Lanka is likely to be made in the second week of the September. A training camp for the players will be arranged following the squad announcement. Pakistan’s training camp is most likely to be held in National Stadium Karachi.
