Mitchell Starc, Australia’s left-arm fast bowler, played a dazzling knock to put Australia right on top in the 4th Ashes Test. Starc came out to bat when Australia was in a dominant position and Steve Smith was unstoppable.
The left-handed batsman played his natural game and scored 54 off just 58 balls including 7 fours and 2 maximums. His knock helped Australia to put up a total of 497 in the 1st innings.
Starc has proved time and again that he has the ability to bat and hang around in the lower-order. This was his 10th Test half-century which made him average around 21.85 in the Test format.
