Pakistan’s left-arm spinner, Imad Wasim continues good work for Nottinghamshire in the Vitality Blast 2019. Imad bowled pretty well against Middlesex in the 2nd Quarter-Final of the tournament.
He picked up 2 wickets by dismissing AB de Villiers and Stevie Eskinzai in a single over. His economical spell put the brakes on the Middlesex’s onslaught in the middle-overs of the game and restricted them to a score of 160-8.
In reply, openers of Nottinghamshire were too good to get rid of. Alex Hales and Chris Nash scored 83 and 74 runs respectively and helped Notts to win the all-important game by 10 wickets and qualify for the semi-finals.
Imad has picked up 10 wickets for Notts in the Vitality Blast season 2019 in the 7 matches he played. The 30-year old is having a good outing in England before he joins the National team back at home for the series against Sri Lanka.
