South Africa will get to taste the flavor of ICC World Test Championship next month as the rainbow nation is set to lock horns against India in a three-match Test series. The first game will be played at Visakhapatnam while second and third matches are to take place in Pune and Ranchi respectively.
Playing in Indian conditions on tracks assisting spinners isn’t something South Africa would like, but it’s a challenge they’ll have to counter if they are to experience a positive start to their campaign in the 2-year red-ball competition.
Kagiso Rabada celebrates after taking a wicket
South Africa’s leading paceman Kagiso Rabada recently revealed that he is looking to use the past experience of playing in sub-continent to plan for India Tests. In the absence of Dale Steyn, the 24-year old will witness a swelled responsibility on his shoulders.
Nevertheless, Rabada looks confident to record a strong performance against the men in blue. In addition to that, the Johannesburg born feels that is imperative for all his teammates to use their previous experience because India always offers tough conditions.
