Pakistani all-rounder Shadab Khan had to leave the seasoning camp half way after getting the No Objections Certificate (NOC) from the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) to participate in the first few games of the Caribbean Premier League (CPL) 2019.
Shadab is representing the Guyana Amazon Warriors in this year’s tournament after spending a couple of successful seasons with the Trinbago Knight Riders. The leg-spinner started his journey with the Warriors in a successful manner as he helped them in registering a win by taking 3 crucial wickets against Saint Lucia Zouks.
Shadab dismissed dangerous batsmen like Andre Fletcher, Chris Barnwell, and Darren Sammy while using his variations to good effect. Moreover, Chris Green was also the stand-out performer for the Warriors as he not only rescued them with quick-fire 28 runs but he also picked up 2 wickets during the 2nd innings.
