Australia captain Meg Lanning became the fastest player to reach 13 One Day International hundreds as her side registered a thumping 178-run win over West Indies in Antigua.
Already the woman with the most ODI centuries to her name, Lanning's 121 saw her become the fastest player, male or female, to reach 13 ODI centuries. The 27-year-old reached the mark in just 76 innings, besting South African batsman Hashim Amla, whose first 13 ODI tons came from 83 innings.
The skipper went on to score 121 in 145 balls before she was dismissed by Shamillia Connell. She struck 12 fours and four sixes in her innings. Lanning forged a mammoth partnership of 225 runs with Alyssa Healy, who also scored a century.
