Former South African quick Rusty Theron is all set to play for United States of America (USA) in their ODI series against Papua New Guinea and Namibia. In the first ever home ODI series beginning on September 13, USA is scheduled to play 4 games as a part of new ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup League 2.
Theron previously represented South Africa in 4 ODIs and 9 T20Is recording impressive performances by claiming a total of 24 International wickets. Coming to domestic cricket, the 34-year old contains a vast experience of franchise-based leagues as he played for Rajasthan Royals, Deccan Chargers and Kings XI Punjab in the Indian Premier League (IPL) while making an appearance for Jamaica Tallawahs in the Caribbean Premier League (CPL).
In addition to that, Theron also played for Kuwait Crusaders in the Arabian Cricket Carnival T20 in 2017. The experienced paceman is excited for his new assignment as he sits confident of producing a strong show in the forthcoming games against Papua New Guinea and Namibia.
