After the conclusion of one-off solitary Test match against Afghanistan, Bangladesh’s cricketing action will resume in the forthcoming T20I tri-series commencing from September 13. The series including both Zimbabwe and Afghanistan will begin with hosts locking horns against Zimbabwe.
For this purpose, Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) has announced the squad for the first two T20Is of the home series. All-rounder Mohammad Saifuddin has been called back to the national squad after recovering from back injury.
On the other hand, young cricketer Mehidy Hasan has been dropped from the team following his unimpressive outings in Sri Lanka. The squad comprises of many young players and Bangladesh management looks keen to test new faces ahead of the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2020 as they want to get a hold of their available resources for the 20-over event.
