South African fast bowler Kagiso Rabada made his international debut four years ago and has since then climbed through the ranks to establish his reputation as one of the world’s best pacers. The right-armer occupied the No.1 slot in the bowling rankings for a while and boasts an impressive tally of 176 wickets across 37 Tests at an average of 21.77 with an equally good record in ODIs.
Considering his sublime bowling credentials, Rabada is now thought of as the leader of South Africa’s pace attack especially in the absence of several senior stars. With the Proteas going through somewhat of a transition, Rabada is looked upon as the spearhead.
"I think there's more responsibility since I do fit in as a senior player now,” the 24-year-old recently said. Rabada has a tough job ahead of him as South Africa are currently touring India to play three T20Is and as many Tests and ODIs.
