Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC) has announced its squads for ODI and T20I series against Pakistan scheduled to take place in Pakistan. The selectors haven’t picked any of the 10 players in both the squads who had refused to travel to Pakistan citing security concerns.

Lahiru Thirimanne has been appointed the ODI skipper while Dasun Shanaka will lead the T20 side. The squads are almost identical with the exception of Lahiru Thirimanne, who hasn’t been picked for the T20I series.
The 27-year-old talented batsman, Oshada Fernando who impressed during the South Africa tour earlier this year has made a comeback. The Island nation’s bowling attack will be led by Nuwan Pradeep along with the likes of Kasun Rajitha, Lahiru Kumara and Isuru Udana.
Sri Lanka and Pakistan are scheduled to play three ODIs and three T20 matches, starting from September 27 to October 9.
