Zimbabwean skipper Hamilton Masakadza in-action
Nevertheless, the team was recently invited by Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) to participate in a T20I tri-series which also involves Afghanistan. For this reason, Zimbabwean skipper Hamilton Masakadza shared his gratitude to the governing body of Bangladesh cricket for giving a helping hand in tough times. He further added that now his team’s focus lies on cricket as they are looking to register a laudable show and make a strong statement.
Moreover, the opening batsman who is set to retire from the International cricket at the conclusion of the forthcoming tri-series wants to end on a positive note as he is aiming to win the T20 competition. Zimbabwe’s journey will begin with a game against hosts Bangladesh on September 13 at Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium in Dhaka.
