South Africa is about to begin their campaign against India under the new leadership of Quinton de Kock, the left-handed keeper batsman. Both teams will meet in the 1st T20I at Dharamshala on 15th September, 2019.
Quinton talked about his new journey during the press conference after they arrived in India. He said that his team is quite young and have the energy to play the competitive cricket.
Talking about the conditions in India, he said that the wickets here are not easy for us but we have to assess them very quickly and adapt accordingly.
This is a new experience for the 26-year old as he is about to lead his National side against a top-quality team. South Africa takes him as a leader for the future and wants to bank on him to build a strong team.
