South African pacer Dale Steyn is all set to feature in the next edition of the Big Bash League (BBL) as he is currently negotiating a deal with the Melbourne Stars. The 36-year-old speedster recently announced retirement from Test cricket as he has now limited himself to white ball cricket only.
Steyn is trying to reach such an arrangement that allows him to participate in the BBL and the Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) as both tournaments would take place during the same time period. The BBL would be played from The 17th of December to the 8th of February while the BPL would take place between December 5 and January 11.
The experienced bowler has been overlooked for the upcoming tour of India mainly because of his injury prone shoulder which is yet to be tested after the completion of his rehabilitation.
