Ramiz blames the system of cricket for the early retirement of players

Pakistan’s Test cricket team, which is already struggling with the form, is further jolted by retirement of fast bowler Mohammad Amir and the indefinite break taken by the left-arm seamer, Wahab Riaz. Their absence will hurt Pakistan badly with ICC Test Championship just around the corner for the Green Team.

Ramiz Raja, the veteran Pakistani cricketer, has blamed the Pakistan’s cricket system for above mentioned situation. He feels that the lack of efficiency in the system has propelled these players to farewell Test cricket early in their careers.

Talking about the failure of the framework, Ramiz said, “It is in fact failure of the cricket system when cricketers start retiring from Test Cricket to concentrate on ODIs and T20s, Mohammad Amir at 27 and now Wahab Riaz. Get the impression that Pakistan’s players are quite happy being dismissive of Test Cricket”.
