Cricket Australia (CA) officials are expected to arrive in Pakistan on September 17 to assess the security arrangements in place. Plans are being made between the CA and Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) to conduct a series in Pakistan in 2022.
The officials include CA Chief Executive Kevin Roberts and the board's head of security, Sean Carroll, who will stay in Pakistan for a day-long visit where they will be made familiar with the security preparations.
The Australian delegation is scheduled to meet PCB chairman Ehsan Mani and PCB CEO Wasim Khan. This visit is part of the trust-building campaign that gradually paves the way for resumption of normal international cricket in Pakistan.
