Southern Punjab has started off the 2019-20 domestic season with a dominant show with the bat as it has received bonus points in its first game of the season after scoring 467 runs in the first innings against Central Punjab. Sami Aslam, Adnan Akmal, and Aamer Yamin were the star performers with the bat as they showed great resistance against the strong opposition bowling.
All-rounder Aamer Yamin provided Southern Punjab with the much-needed lift on the 2nd day as he played a swift knock of 64 off just 67 balls while holding one end with Sami Aslam at the other.
At the end of day’s play, Aamer said that he is working hard to improve his performances in all departments so that he could get another chance in the national side. He also believes that the selectors would consider his all-round performances in domestic cricket whenever they would want a genuine all-rounder for the Pakistan team.
