Zimbabwe hasn’t been able to record a strong start in the ongoing T20I tri-series against Bangladesh and Afghanistan as they lost their first two games. While Zimbabwean team found themselves in good positions, but the players weren’t able to handle the crunch moments well, thus spilling golden opportunities.
The road to final is now full of muddles as apart from winning the last 2 games, Zimbabwe would need other equations to go in their favor. However, skipper Hamilton Masakadza encouraged his team to come back hard in their remaining fixtures as he is still eyeing a spot in the final of the competition.
The 36-year old, who is set to retire from the International cricket at the conclusion of the running cricket action, rued the missed chances against Zimbabwe and Bangladesh. Nevertheless, he reflected on the positives as he believes that his team has enough skills to turn the tables. Zimbabwe’s next match will be played against hosts Bangladesh on September 18 at Chattogram.
